Project Description

In 2000, Private Equity Group invested in a 6.5 acre high versatility corner of Summerlin Boulevard and Boy Scout Road. The property was zoned for commercial purposes and has been developed into rental office space.

This is an example of Private Equity Group’s diverse experience and flexibility. In 2000, we identified the need for new Class A office space in Fort Myers and secured a prime high versatility corner, where we designed and built an award winning 54,000-square-foot office building. Mid-construction, an e-commerce company recognized as a world leader in its field approached Private Equity Group. The e-commerce company sought to make the office building their national headquarters and assume a position of high visibility and prominence in the community.

A lease for more than 30,000 square feet was negotiated. Since this company was at the cutting edge of technology, their requirements necessitated that their headquarters be in a “smart building,” including the design and construction of the newest and largest data room in Southwest Florida. The data room featured the finest in fire suppression, climate control, premise and network security, and stand-by power sources. The “smart building” concept was incorporated in the entire building and all work stations are designed and wired to meet the needs of the tech sector.
